Boxwood Gardens...a gift

I know I talk too much about magazines.  I'm about as addicted to the glossy pages of home and garden monthlies as I am a good cabernet. (I probably talk too much about that, too.)  Although other venues such as Pinterest are wonderfully inspiring, all those endless uploads are sometimes overwhelming. Even though a picture is worth a thousand words, there's something so homey and real about a featured family's home or garden and the way they enjoy it.  Their stories lend so much more to the pages.

But, some of the gardens that inspire never make it between the covers of Veranda or Atlanta Homes and Lifestyles. I wish they all could. Check out the boxwood garden of Atlanta designer, Ellen Shaw's, home. There is something about the precision and symmetry of an all-green boxwood garden that calms and cools in the sultry summer months.
